Over the past four years, Virgil Abloh has become one of the biggest driving forces in the world of sneakers. The Off-White™ and Louis Vuitton Creative Director emerged as a key figure in the streetwear community. Sneaker collaborations with the likes of Nike, Air Jordan and Futura have helped Off-White™ cement itself as the world’s hottest brand. Now, it looks we could be seeing another instalment in the historic Off-White™ x Nike line.
Taking a similar approach to the previous Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA”, the sneaker will feature a yellow leather base and a metallic silver Swoosh. The familiar “AIR” text on the midsole, as well as a red tag and exposed foam, keeps the deconstructed aesthetic alive. As well as this, you can expect to see classic details like the writing on the medial side and shoelaces.
Though there is still much speculation, according to sources another Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 will drop next year. Whilst there is no confirmation from Abloh or Nike, it is rumoured that a yellow version of the Nike Air Force 1 ’07 will launch at some point during 2021. A date has yet to be confirmed, though you can expect this to be around €150.
