In just seven years, Jerry Lorenzo has gone from a relatively unknown member in the streetwear community to one of the most important people in the industry. His elevated grunge chic label Fear of God is arguably in a league of its own, combining luxury materials with a simple streetwear aesthetic. The Fear of God x Nike collaboration in 2018 was a landmark achievement for Lorenzo, creating a brand new silhouette with the Swoosh.
Though his own creations may have been instant hits, Lorenzo didn’t forget about his family. Yesterday, the 42-year-old designer showed off a special pair of Nike Fear of God 1s designed by his son Jerry III. Inspired by his dad’s work, Little Jerry combined several previous FOG1 collaborations on one sneaker but putting his own spin on the high fashion model.
Kicking things off with a neutral start, the predominantly brown FOG1 is contrasted with a sail midsole. Splashes of colour can be seen on the cage which comes in a bright lime green colour. A pink toe box is paired with purple laces, creating a nice depth on this FOG1. Whilst it may not be for everyone, you can’t help but smile at this father-son moment.
With these likely to be the only two pairs in existence, you can kiss goodbye to these ever seeing a release date. Check out the images below and let us know if you’d rock these Nike FOG1s.
