Last week, we got our first glimpse of the Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V. Shared by the British rapper on his personal Instagram, the first shots were enough to get the sneaker community excited. Over the past few days, however, more and more images of the upcoming Skepta x Nike collaboration have begun to appear online. Thankfully, we now have some detailed shots of the Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V ahead of its imminent release date.
Taking the classic Air Max shape, the bright blue sneaker is already looking like a must-cop for summer. Featuring an aqua pattern throughout, the aqua blue against the black TPU overlays creates a nice contrast, with the chrome accents bringing it all together. Of course, one of the real highlights on this shoe is the iridescent tongue; a subtle touch we’re all for. The use of a black midsole and blue air units also adds a nice dimension to this Skepta x Nike shoe. Finally, Sk Air branding on the tongue and midsole round the shoe off, bringing this collab to a close.
Right now, there’s no further release information on this upcoming Skepta x Nike collab. What we do know is that the shoe is set to drop later this year alongside a matching tracksuit; just like the Shox and Air Max Deluxe.
