Undefeated and Nike dropped some of the most hyped Air Max 97s back in 2017, but one was more elusive than the rest. Dropping exclusively at ComplexCon in Los Angeles, the “Flight Jacket” colourway was a standout release at the event. Thankfully, it looks as though we can expect to see a few more Air Max 97s drop between Undefeated x Nike. After leaks were rumoured last week, it looks as though a trio of Undefeated AM97s are on the way.
Taking Christian Tresser’s iconic design, Undefeated has kept things relatively simple. The familiar combination of mesh and leather runs throughout the shoe, ensuring the sneaker looks slick. Up first is the “Militia Green” colourway which looks strikingly similar to the 2017 “Flight Jacket” ComplexCon exclusive. Second is an aero blue which features yellow and blue hints, whilst finally is a black, volt and militia green accents. All three pairs use the instantly recognisable “UNDEFEATED” branding throughout, with co-branded insoles and subtle Nike branding.
As you can probably imagine, this latest Undefeated x Nike Air Max 97 pack is going to be hyped. A new set of colours and the fresh excitement about the drop is exactly what the model needs.
