In the entire history of Nike, there have been thousands of models produced. Some, however, have stood the test of time. One of those silhouettes is the Nike Blazer, a basketball silhouette that gained huge popularity in the emerging skate community of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Fast forward over 40 years later and the Nike Blazer is as popular now as it was back then. Thankfully, Nike has given team rider Kevin Bradley his chance to reimagine the classic sneaker.

Dubbed the “Kevin & Hell” pack, the SB Blazer is reinterpreted in two ways. Firstly, we see the Blazer Low adorned in a two-tone blue upper, accented by a white cloud-shaped Swoosh. Three black velcro straps replace the traditional lacing system, with “Nike KB” branding on the tongue adding a little more detail to this signature model. On the heel, a raindrop can be seen instead of the traditional Nike logo, showcasing Bradley’s love of rain.

The Blazer Mid is as far from the Low as possible. Featuring a red velour upper, the sleek silhouette is complemented by a black Swoosh. The well-worked creates a sense of divide in the sneaker, whilst seemingly bringing the shoe together. An ode to Bradley’s favourite Star Wars character, Darth Maul, the sneaker features a sunburst motif on the heel, “Nike KB” branding on the tongue and a slick black midsole.

Launching exclusively at Nike SB Orange Label skate shops on May 30th, this is one release you don’t want to miss out on. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop.
