Since first being leaked back in April, the FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low has been hot on the cop list of many sneakerheads. As one of the shoes unveiled as part of Nike SB’s Olympics pack, the FTC Dunk is certainly hyped. Despite there not being much in terms of release information, things have now, thankfully, started to change. In fact, we now have confirmation that the FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low will drop next week.
Oozing Japanese tradition, FTC founder Kent Uyehara referenced Japan’s public bathhouses, dating back hundreds of years. These baths have remained integral to communities throughout Japan, serving as a perfect inspiration for a sneaker. Dazzling blue suede works with textured white leather panels to create a distinctive look. Yellow accents on the sockliner, tongue and heel tab add a nice contrast, with the latter featuring “FTC” embroidery. Finally, a white midsole and icy sole represent the Sento, rounding off an excellent SB Dunk.
If you like the look of the FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low then get ready. According to sources, the pair will officially launch on July 21 for €110.
