Using his Fear of God imprint, Jerry Lorenzo has blurred the lines between high fashion and sneakers completely. Described as “grunge chic”, Fear of God is a high-end take on streetwear, gaining fans like Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Virgil Abloh in the process. Jerry Lorenzo and Nike have had one of the strongest debut sneaker lines in recent history. Now, the latest iteration of the Nike Air Fear of God 1 is almost here.
Taking the familiar hightop silhouette, the “Triple Black” Air Fear of God 1 takes a stealthy approach. The shoe features an all-black cage around the upper and is paired with a set of black rope laces, with black suede and mesh oozing luxury. Of course, the minimalistic branding can be seen on the heel as well as the side of the sneaker. Keeping this sleek, a black midsole unit and outsole have also been used.
Is this the greatest Nike Air FOG1 yet? It’s definitely a contender. Check out the images below and let us know if you plan on copping.
