We all need a smile in these unprecedented times. With the world in a current state of lockdown, having a small laugh can make all the difference. Thankfully, Italian label LC23 has linked up with Diadora to do just that. Following on from its Pink Panther themed sneakers in February, the two are continuing the playful collaboration once more.
Taking one of Diadora’s most known models, LC23 has reimagined the N9002. A heritage silhouette from Diadrora’s vast archive, the N9002 was originally released in 1992. The luxurious take on the sneaker can be seen throughout, with subtle details featured on the entire sneaker.
LC23 has constructed the familiar leather and suede base in white and grey, contrasted by a cream midsole and pink outsole. A pink sockliner and white laces help to offset the neutral base, however, it’s the smiling panther on the back that completes this shoe. The iconic cartoon character can be seen smirking on the heel, a bold detail that finishes this collab off nicely.
