Whenever Nike announces a City Pack, sneakerheads get excited. Having been leaked back in January, the “London” and “Amsterdam” Air Max 1s are almost here. Since making the round on Instagram in January, footwear fans have been patiently waiting. Well, the long wait is finally almost over.
The “London” edition of this two-part pack is an ode to the UK capital. A distinct combination of Smoke Grey, Valerian Blue, and Dark Smoke, the shoe reflects the city perfectly. An embroidered outline of The River Thames adorns the heel, making for a nice touch. Nike isn’t holding back on the materials with this sneaker either. Mesh, leather, suede, and corduroy all feature on this AM1, with the mini Swoosh on the toe giving another added luxury.
