More often than not, the “Veneer” Nike Dunk Low is the forgotten sneaker in the “Ugly Duckling” pack. Originally released in 2001, the bright coloured Dunk has always been one that only serious collectors are a fan of. As we’ve seen over the past year or so, we’ve seen Nike bring back a number of classic colourways of the basketball silhouette. We revealed last month that Nike had plans to complete the “Ugly Duckling” pack and now we have our first look at the 2020 “Veneer” Dunk Low SP.
Staying as true to the OG as possible, the “Veneer” Nike Dunk is already looking like a must cop. Constructed in a premium suede throughout, the “Veneer” Dunk features a number of contrasting colours. Everything from Veneer, Autumn Green and Deep Purple has been used on the overlays whilst a brown base adds a sense of neutrality. A white midsole with a purple outsole brings this Dunk to a close, with purple laces adding a nice touch.
If you like the look of the Nike Dunk Low SP “Veneer” then there’s a little longer to wait. The sneaker is rumoured to drop in Fall/Winter but no exact release info has emerged just yet. You can expect the shoe to cost around €100 though. Check out the on-foot images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Nike Dunks.
