Nike has continued to push its ISPA line in recent years. A cutting edge technology division in Nike, ISPA is all about creating products with what Nike has. Standing for Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt, ISPA was formed on the basis of pushing the boundaries in Nike’s products. Collaborative ISPA products are rarely seen, but thankfully that is all changing this year. After being revealed by UNDERCOVER last week, we now have a detailed look at its upcoming ISPA collab with Nike.
Named the UNDERCOVER x Nike ISPA OverReact, the four sneakers are unlike anything we have seen before. Taking elements of the Nike React, UNDERCOVER and Nike ISPA have created something truly unique. The most noticeable detail on this experimental silhouette is the large React sole unit. Unlike previous Nike Reacts, the UNDERCOVER x Nike ISPA OverReact uses a bulkier construction. However, the sleek upper offsets this chunky model.
A well-balanced combination of mesh and suede creates a slick-looking sneaker. Subtle branding can be seen on the co-branded tongue tag, whilst a large Swoosh adorns the midsection. It is the little details that have really got us excited though. The words “Chaos” and “Balance” can be seen on the left and right foot respectively. A small embroidered rose has also been included and sits just above the Swoosh, something you may not necessarily spot at first.
Dropping in four colourways, the upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike ISPA OverReact is going to be a divisive silhouette. Check out the images below and let us know which colourway is your favourite.
