There is no denying just how important Off-White™ and Stüssy are in the world of streetwear. After being founded by Shawn Stussy in 1980, Stüssy went on to become one of the earliest brands in streetwear. Having grown up in Chicago, Virgil Abloh knows only too well the influence of the Californian fashion label. Now, it looks like the two worlds could be colliding in a surprise collaboration unveiled by Abloh.
Whilst details are not yet known, Virgil Abloh teased a collaborative T-shirt from Off-White™ and Stüssy. Although there is only one image of the T-shirt, it is enough to make a statement. In keeping with Abloh’s “I Support Young Black Businesses” initiative, the T-shirt bears the same message. A cutout of the Great Sphinx of Giza can also be seen underneath, creating another eye-catching detail on this slick-looking T-shirt.
As for now, there’s not a lot of information on this piece, or even confirmation if it’s just a sample. Check back to the KLEKT Blog where we’ll keep you updated on this story as more info breaks.
