There are fewer people more impactful in the world of fashion and footwear than Virgil Abloh. Over the past 10 years, the Chicago native has become one of the most influential designers on the planet. Since the launch of The Ten with Nike, Abloh has become a key figure in the sneaker community. Well, it looks as though Abloh is giving fans the chance to pick which shoe he designs next.
In a string of Tweets, Abloh explained that: “there’s a blank sheet of paper in front of me. what Nike zone should i do next?” Sneakerheads were quick to give suggestions, asking Abloh to redesign some of Nike’s earlier models. It seems as though the suggestions that Twitter users were giving were well received by the Louis Vuitton menswear head honcho.
Sneakerheads were quick to suggest that Abloh should bring back an OG silhouette that nobody had heard of, something he explained he was considering. The Off-White™ founder also alluded to the fact that a new Nike design by himself was also coming at some point in the future.
