Jaden Smith is without a doubt one of the most underrated fashion muses. The 22-year-old actor turned musician has a unique style, something that has gained the attention of many in the streetwear community. Last month, we saw the introduction of a Jaden Smith x New Balance sneaker dubbed the “Vision Racer.” Whilst it may have been a divisive silhouette, it has certainly proved popular in some circles. Now, it looks like a second colourway is on the way.
Seamlessly blending the New Balance 1700 and X-Racer, the hybrid model is certainly eye-catching. Premium suede tan overlays work with crisp white mesh to give this shoe a luxury feel. Navy accents can be seen too, with black and yellow detailing running above the midsole. A large “NB” motif adorns the heel, with a simple “N” on the midsection.
Of course, the chunky oversized midsole is the most eye-catching detail on this New Balance sneaker. The white midsole features EVA foam and is split into three sections. Underneath the sole, other unique details can also be seen. “((VISION))” can be spotted underneath, linking back to Smith’s vision for this mismatched sneaker.
