In recent years, Montreal based design studio JJJJound has become a powerful force in sneakers. Collaborations with the likes of Reebok and New Balance have helped turn a new generation of sneakerheads onto the label. Now, it looks as though JJJJound will be working with New Balance once more.
Whilst details are slim, it looks as though a JJJJound x New Balance 992 is definitely on the way. Draped in a premium khaki suede and mesh, the shoe features a grey sockliner and contrasting cream laces. A darker green “N” logo can be spotted on the side, with a splash of 3M reflective at the bottom of the laces for good measure.
In the back of the image, a custom insole featuring JJJJound’s script logo can also be spotted, just in case, you needed reminding who created these beauties. The midsole uses New Balance’s ENCAP technology and uses cream and white blocking, with a grey outsole rounding the shoe off.
Release information has yet to be released, but you can expect these to drop later this year. Given the sellout times of previous JJJJound sneaker collabs, you can expect this to be a tough cop. Check out the image below and let us know if you plan on picking these up.
