Reebok stepped up its work rate and design process towards the end of 2019. Collaborations with the likes of Palace and Pyer Moss helped to put the brand on a great platform for 2020. With that drive behind them, Reebok has tapped up South Korean label KANGHYUK to drop a chunky silhouette for SS20.
KANGHYUK has come up with the Premier Modern; a futuristic rework of the brands Premier Classic model. Draped in a sleek black overlay, the Premier Modern focuses on merging together high fashion aesthetic with everyday functionality. A combination of black mesh and leather accents is accented with TPU elements, creating a seamless sneaker. Subtle branding can be seen in the form of a KANGHYUK logo on the heel and a vector motif on the midfoot.
The sleek top section is only complemented with a chunky all-black midsole. Reebok’s famous DMX RIDE sole unit helps add the comfortability on the sneaker; with simple black rope laces and a sock liner matching the sole.
With this being one of Reebok’s more adventurous silhouettes, you can expect it to be a big hit for sneakerheads and fashion lovers alike.
