The New Balance 327 is one of the best looking NB silhouettes to grace our feet in 2020. Since it’s debut by Casablanca at Paris Fashion Week, the shoe has won over the hearts of many. Well, it looks as though there may be a few more versions set to release, three of which are coming from Hong Kong label, MDNS.
MDNS, short for MADNESS, was founded in 2010 by Shawn Yue. The brand has had a relationship with New Balance since 2019. After the initial success of the MDNS x New Balance 990v2 and 997s, MDNS is working with NB on the 327. Three luxurious takes on the 70s inspired sneaker have been created.
A monochromatic black and grey version is the most neutral. The simple colour, which features suede and nylon, is a hark back to early NB runners. The second, a more colourful khaki, brown and navy version, has also been created. Contrasting materials, as well as a contrasting cream midsole, give the shoe a nice depth. Third and finally, a white and cream version is also on the way. The simplicity of the colourway is only elevated by the choice of materials found on the shoe.
All three sneakers come with MDNS branding on the heel, tongue and a special set of laces. Whilst there is no release info just yet, you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled on the KLEKT Blog to find out more. Check out the images below and let us know if you plan on copping.
