There is no denying Offspring’s love for its dedicated sneaker community. The London-based store has always ensured that its followers are at the heart of its work. Whether it’s by creating challenges to enter raffles or simply focusing on the love of sneakers as a whole, Offspring’s presence in the industry is undeniable. After the success of last year’s Offspring x Converse community pack, the two are teaming up to drop an updated version once more.
The premium take on the classic Chuck Taylor can be seen in two different versions; a Hi and Low. Taking a look at the Hi first, Offspring has spared no expense on the detailing of this Converse. A simple white leather base is contrasted by light grey detailing on the lace eyelets and All-Star emblem. Using the same aesthetic, the Low flips the colour scheme. A luxury grey leather base makes way for cream accents, making for a slick sneaker.
Subtle additions have been included on this Offspring Converse pack that elevate it just that bit further. Laces include the Offspring thunderbolt logo as well as the store name throughout. A debossed thunderbolt can be seen at the toe, whilst “Offspring HQ Community” wraps around the midsole. Other notable additions include a flip on the original “Player’s Name” that sits behind the tongue. Offspring has replaced it with “Member’s Name,” pairing it with a heel tab that reads “Community Member.”
