Kanye West’s influence in the sneaker community is unparalleled. After Yeezus’ dramatic exit from Nike to adidas in 2013, the 44-year-old rapper has created some of the most sought after shoes in history. One of those models, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, has become a signature silhouette. Releasing in multiple colourways, the shoe has something for everyone. Thankfully, we arebeing treated to three new colourways of the Yeezy 350 V2, however, there’s a catch.
Following on from the success of last years regional release strategy, adidas is back again. Three separate colourways of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 will exclusively drop in a separate region. This strategy helped Yeezys image massively last year, when the “Antila”, “Lundmark” and “Synth” dropped in different areas around the globe.
With this in mind, Yeezy is dropping three colourways of the sneaker this month, each more different than the last. According to Yeezy Mafia, the “Earth”, “Flax” and “Tail Light” colourways of the popular model will release in specific regions this month.
Fans located in Europe/Russia will be treated to the “Tail Light.” A soft grey Primeknit upper features a red heel tab and a translucent stripe. The familiar semi-translucent sole sits atop the Boost material, giving the shoe ultimate comfortability.
Sneakerheads located in the Americas will have access to the “Earth” iteration; a soft tonal colourway that uses deep shades of brown and tan. The contrasting laces, heel tab and stripe help add to the allure of this sneaker.
Those in the Asia Pacific/Africa region will be given the “Flax” Yeezy 350 V2; a soft yellow silhouette that uses the familiar Primeknit upper and semi-translucent sole. With so many Yeezys on offer, its hard to pick a favourite.
