It’s going to be a very big year for adidas and Kanye West. The two are rumoured to have eight Yeezy Boost 350 V2s already lined up, as well as more Yeezy Boost 380s releasing in 2020. One of the more exciting drops that fans can expect to see in the very near future, however, is neither of those silhouettes.
After two years of waiting, the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN is finally releasing next month. The popular adidas Yeezy Boost 700 is reimagined in this latest installment. Whilst the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V3 gave us a futuristic take on the popular Dad silhouette, the MNVN takes a different approach.
Instead of the traditional suede, mesh, and leather, the MNVN uses a complete nylon construction. Sneakerheads will be quick to notice the lack of adidas branding on this latest Yeezy shoe. However, the use of a large ‘700’ graphic across the upper, as well as the chunky midsole, is enough to let fans know that this is indeed a 700 Boost.
The first two colours to release and quite juxtaposing. A bright Orange version is set to drop, complete with a reflective 700 graphic across the upper. The toe box is complete in black, as well as sections of the heel, creating a well-balanced statement sneaker. In contrast, a much sleeker Triple Black version will release alongside it, taking a much more refined approach. Both of these sneakers are complete with an all-black sole, laces, tongue, and sock liner.
Early reports suggest that this shoe will release on February 29th, though adidas and Yeezy are yet to confirm the date. Will you be copping these latest Yeezy sneakers?
