When it comes to sneaker collaborations, UNDEFEATED is considered one of the best brands to do it. It’s Air Jordan 4 collab is still one of the most sought after on the planet. In recent years, its Air Max 97s have helped introduce a new generation of sneakerheads to the Los Angeles label. Now, UNDEFEATED is starting a new initiative, exploring the concept of fundamental items. Thankfully, it has recruited Converse for the first brand in this collection.
In its own words, “fundamentals explores a curation of essential items subtly redefined through the lens of UNDEFEATED.” With that in mind, UNDEFEATED has reimagined two Converse Chuck 70 His with simple additions. Taking the iconic silhouette, UNDEFEATED has dressed two Chuck 70s in classic colours: “Parchment” and “Black.”
The “Parchment” Chuck 70 features an off-white canvas upper and is contrasted by a red and blue striped midsole. Black “UNDEFEATED” branding can be seen on the heel as well as on the collar’s All-Star logo. In contrast, the “Black” features a contrasting royal blue on the heel and collar, adding a simple colour pop to this noir sneaker. Both pairs use an embossed Five Strike logo on the midsole’s lateral forefoot, putting UNDEFEATED’s stamp on this classic Converse.
Set to release on May 22nd as an UNDEFEATED exclusive, these will be a shoe of the summer. Though no retail price has been listed, you can expect these to cost around €110. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop.
