It’s been a strange season for Supreme. Though most of this year’s releases may have been carried out online, there is no denying just how successful SS20 was. Week 19 of Supreme rounded off a perfectly balanced season. Collaborations in the form of Speedo and Vans showed just how eclectic Supreme’s friend roster truly is. Here at KLEKT, we’ve put together a small lookbook of the best pieces from this week’s drop.
Of course, whilst many would be looking to keep the Supreme x Speedo pieces deadstock, we at KLEKT wanted to put them to use. Heading straight to the coast from the London store, we put the Supreme x Speedo collaboration to the test. Recreating scenes you’re more likely to see in an Olympic pool rather than a Supreme product drop, our brave team braced the cold waters of Southend to get you arguably the best look at the Supreme x Speedo collaboration so far.
Of course, one of the other main product drops from this week was the Supreme x Vans collaboration. Taking the classic Sk8 Hi and Slip-On models, Supreme decked out the sneakers in distressed denim. Dropping in two colourways, black or blue, the first Supreme x Vans collab of 2020 was an instant hit. Featuring minimal Supreme branding, this relaxed footwear collab was definitely one of the best Supreme sneaker drops this year.
Not forgetting Supreme’s other key items from this week, slick shots of Week 19s headwear heavy drop were also on offer. From bucket hats to 5-Panel caps, Supreme did not mess around for the final week of SS20.
