Supreme has had arguably the strangest season in its 26-year history in 2020. Having taken the drop completely online earlier in March to combat COVID-19, Supreme has still maintained the level of hype week in week out. Successful collaborations with Nike, Lamborghini and S&M have helped SS20 to be one of the best, if not strangest so far. Now, Supreme has officially unveiled a collaboration with long time friend of the brand Daniel Johnston.
The posthumous SS20 launch will see Supreme use some of Johnston’s original artwork across a number of pieces. Given the current state of the world, the light-hearted collaboration is exactly what we all need at the minute. Johnston’s signature art makes its way across everything from embroidered work jackets to plaid shirts and hoodies to beanies. Large graphic applications are certainly the focus on this collab and with the adventurous artwork being so good, you can understand why.
Launching online on Thursday, this is definitely a Supreme drop you don’t want to miss. Check out the lookbook images and product pictures below and let us know what you think.
