When the adidas Yeezy 450 “Cloud White” first appeared back in 2018, it was one of the wildest Kanye West sneakers we’d seen in a long time. Originally called the Yeezy 451, the silhouette has since undergone a few changes, not just in numbers. Whilst it’s taken nearly three years to get to a release date, the drop of this Yeezy is imminent. In fact, we now have official imagery of the adidas Yeezy 450 in the OG “Cloud White” colourway.
Designed by sneaker legend Steven Smith, the man behind futuristic models like the Reebok Instapump Fury, the adidas Yeezy 450 is, in all honesty, wild. Taking a simple Cloud White Primeknit upper, the shoe features a unique lacing system. A combination of lace loops and hole in the upper ensure this is something you don’t see every day. Of course, the real talking point of this Yeezy is the crazy sole unit.
The aggressive white sole unit is something that we’ve never seen before. Featuring a curved design on the sole, the material rises up into the Primeknit, giving it a look that we’re still trying to understand. Interestingly, there are no signs that this is either Boost or adiPRENE, meaning this could be the same material used on the Foam Runner.
If you like the look of the adidas Yeezy 450 “Cloud White” then there’s good news. According to sources, the adidas Yeezy 450 will release on March 6th for €200 exclusively on Yeezy Supply. With that in mind, these are likely to be fairly limited, making them a must-have for Yeezy fans. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Yeezys.
