When it comes to exciting streetwear brands, few are as noteworthy as PLEASURES. The Los Angeles-based label has gained incredible popularity since Alex James launched the brand in 2015. Carving its own unique aesthetic into fashion, PLEASURES has already worked with the likes of Dr Martens, Converse and, surprisingly, Crocs. However, PLEASURES has found a lot of success in the sneaker community thanks to its work with Reebok. Well, it now looks like the two are joining forces once more on a brand new silhouette.
Unveiled via PLEASURES Instagram page last night, the brand gave us a first glimpse at an upcoming Reebok collab. The brand new silhouette, dubbed the Reebok Classic Leather Legacy, features a stripped-back modern look. Utilising a sand style palette, PLEASURES has combined cream, white and tan throughout this futuristic model. The sneaker perfectly combines mesh, suede, leather and nylon to create a luxury sportswear sneaker. Minimal “PLEASURES” branding can be seen on the side, replacing the traditional “Reebok.”
It is the extended midsole and sole unit that has got a lot of people talking, however. Unlike the usual Reebok Classic Leather midsole, the Classic Leather Legacy uses a much larger midsole unit. The results add an extra depth to this sneaker, ensuring that the upper and sole are perfectly matched. Subtle lines across the heel, as well as the original teeth outsole, pay a fitting homage to the iconic Reebok silhouette.
Whilst there is no further information on this release, for now, the timing of the news is exciting. At the moment, there is no confirmed release date or price but we’ll keep you updated once we know more. Check out the image below and let us know if you’ll cop these Reebok sneakers.
