Jordan Brand has had a pretty fantastic start to the new decade. Though COVID-19 may have impacted the overall plans, Team Jumpman seems to have released a number of great sneakers for the past seven months. After all, we’ve seen retros, reissues and rare pairs all drop within a relatively short period of time. Since revealing its Fall 20 lineup last month, Jordan Brand has ignited the hype in the community once more. One of those pairs that got the community excited is almost here.
Dubbed the “Laser Orange” Air Jordan 3, the WMNS exclusive pair has been doing the rounds on social media for a number of months. Taking the classic Tinker Hatfield design, Jordan Brand has remained true to the OG with some simple updates. A white tumbled leather base is matched with the same classic elephant print, white midsole and grey sole unit. However, the “Laser Orange” accents are what brings this 1988 classic into 2020.
“Laser Orange” splashes can be seen on the lace eyelets, heel and insole. The use of an embroidered “Laser Orange” Jumpman on the tongue adds a touch of colour, refreshing this 32-year-old silhouette in a subtle way. On the heel tab, a black Jumpman logo can be seen, sitting just above the familiar “AIR” text. These are already looking like a contender for sneaker of the summer.
There is some bad news for those sneakerheads with big feet. With this being a women’s exclusive Air Jordan 3, they will only run-up to an EU44. Launching on August 21st for an estimated €190, this is one Air Jordan 3 you won’t want to miss out on. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop.
