Since 2001, Nike has honoured Japan with a number of exclusive sneakers. These limited edition models often sell for thousands, but it is the allure from the Western world that drives the price tag. Whether it is the OG Air Jordan 1 CO.JP “Metallic Silver” or Nike Dunks, Japan has had its fair share of hyped shoes. With the Air Jordan 3 SE “Fire Red Denim” set to release next month, Nike is giving Japan its own special version.
Boasting the same upper as the rest of the world release, the Air Jordan 3 SE “Fire Red Denim” features a white tumbled leather and a denim elephant print. However, what sets this Japan version apart is its translucent heel tab and insole. Instead of the “Nike Air” on the back, this iteration uses special Japanese branding instead of “Nike.” The insole also features the “CO.JP” logo too, something the GR does not. Oh, did we also forget to mention the Japanese version will feature denim elephant print tissue paper?
If you’re looking to get your hands on these, then good luck. With this AJ3 being a Japanese exclusive, the stock numbers are expected to be low. You’ll need to use all your sneaker connections to get this Air Jordan 3. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’re feeling these Jordans.
