Since first being spotted on the Casablanca runway back in January, the New Balance 327 has seen a meteoric rise. The 70s inspired silhouette has been one of the standout silhouettes to come out of New Balance this year. Collaborations with the likes of the aforementioned brand, as well as a string of popular colourways, have helped cement the 327 as arguably the hottest shoe this year. Now, it looks like New Balance is taking things one step further, releasing a sustainable version of its popular runner.
Aptly named the New Balance 327 “Undyed,” the colourway is arguably one of the best we’ve seen so far. Premium materials such as suede work with durable canvas in tonal shades of cream and light grey. The neutrality of the colouring allows the materials to shine as well as being one of the most sustainable 327s to release. Whilst other 327s use mismatched-dyes and, the “Undyed” does not, thus saving less water, energy and waste in the process.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that New Balance has skipped out on the quality of this shoe in the slightest. The usual features such as the large “N” motif on the midsection can be seen, as well as subtle branding stamped on the inside foot. A crisp white midsole is paired with a gum outsole, completing this slick 327 perfectly.
If you like the look of these upcoming New Balance 327s, then there’s good news. The sneaker is set to drop on August 8th for €100. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll be copping these New Balance 327s.
