Jerry Lorenzo is one of the most important people in streetwear. Since launching his Fear of God label in 2013, the Los Angeles designer has taken the brand to new heights. Collaborations with Nike and Vans have made FOG sneakers some of the most sought after on the planet. Fear of God ESSENTIALS Converse sneakers has also put a new spin on the classic Chuck Taylor. However, a never before seen sample has surfaced online.
Shared by Instagram user spicychickenwings, the shoe is unlike any Fear of God x Converse. The panelled design uses a canvas construction with multicoloured patterns to create an eye-catching pair of sneakers. A set of thick white rope laces match the equally as white lace eyelets, a detail that is contrasted by a blue Converse logo on the tongue. Adding a sense of neutrality is a thick white midsole, complete with a “Converse All Star Logo” on the heel.
With this being a sample, it’s unlikely that they will ever see a release date. However, there is always a chance they could drop at some point in the future. Check out the images below and let us know if you’d cop these Fear of God ESSENTIALS x Converse.
