It’s been a busy year for Kanye West and adidas. The two have been cooking up a number of high profile sneaker releases, bringing out new silhouettes as well as new colourways of fan favourites. Despite a global pandemic, adidas Yeezy’s have remained a regular drop in the sneaker calendar. Thankfully, it doesn’t look as though things are going to be changing any time soon. After months of building hype, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Israfil” is finally set to release this weekend.
First spotted back in April, sneakerheads have been patiently waiting for the “Israfil” Yeezy 350 V2s to drop. As a testament to Kanye’s newfound religious ties, the upcoming “Israfil” shares its name with Islamic archangels. The traditional Primeknit upper is constructed with light blue and grey, making for a well-balanced base. A tan stripe cuts through this neutral base, adding a simple splash of colour that makes this Yeezy 350 pop. Of course, the traditional Boost midsole and rope laces come as standard, the latter of which comes with a custom dubrae at the top.
If you like the look of these upcoming Yeezys, then there’s good news. The adidas Yeezy Boost 30 V2 “Israfil” will drop in full family sizing on Saturday. Check out the official images below and let us know if you plan on copping.
