2021 may have just begun but it looks as though we could be seeing a lot more adidas Yeezy Boost 380 colourways this year. After bursting onto the scene in early 2020, the mid-top Yeezy silhouette quickly became one of the standout models in Kanye West’s footwear arsenal. Whilst the colourways may not have been to everyone’s taste, that didn’t stop it from becoming a fan favourite amongst sneakerheads. Now, it looks as though we could be seeing a Yeezy with icy blue midsoles.
Nicknamed the addias Yeezy Boost 380 “Alien Blue” (creative, right?) the upcoming colourway is certainly eye-catching. A cream and light grey Primeknit base is accented with a mint green stripe through the mid-foot, creating a subtle yet well balanced upper. White laces and a nice divider too, but it’s the blue midsole that’s the standout feature here. Using a semi-translucent icy blue on the Boost sole, this is one Yeezy that’s summer-ready.
As for now, we don’t have an awful lot of information to go on about this Yeezy 380 release. However, the good news is that the shoe is expected to drop at some point in 2021.
