Over the past 12 months, we’ve seen Casablanca x New Balance become one of the most successful partnerships in sneakers. Since first teaming up on the Casablanca x New Balance 327, the two have gone on to create brand new apparel, sneakers and hype for their collaborations. After teasing the brand new 237 model last month, we now finally have a closer look at two brand new pairs of New Balance x Casablanca shoes.
For its third collaboration with New Balance, Casablanca has gone for an ornate design on both pairs of sneakers. First up we have the aforementioned New Balance 237; a casual shoe that can be worn for the everyday. Designed by Charlotte Lee, the brilliant mind behind the 327, it makes sense that Casablanca would be the first brand to collaborate on this new silhouette. Secondly, we have the classic 327, a pair that’s become synonymous with sneaker culture over the past year.
Both NB sneakers bear the same features, though with a few slight differences. Slick white perforated leather has been used on both pairs, with a few added details that make it pop. Casablanca’s signature monogram adorns the overlays, creating a stand out pair of 327s. The distinctive oversized “N” motif comes in soft cream leather and features pink accents and adds a nice contrast. A split white and cream midsole makes the perfect base for the green sole unit to work.
If you like the look of the Casablanca x New Balance 327 and Casablanca x New Balance 237, then there’s good news. According to sources, both pairs will release exclusively at Casablanca on February 27th before a global release on March 5th.
