Although we may yet see the retail pair’s release, new images of a fragment x Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 High sample have surfaced online. Over the past few months, we’ve seen more and more of the “Military Blue” colourway of the fragment design x Travis Scott collab. However, as any sneakerhead knows, the world of samples is rife with pairs that could have been. A long-time friend of La Flame, OG Chase B, has been spotted a sample pair of fragment Travis Scott AJ1s.
If you’re thinking the colourway looks familiar, there’s a reason for that. Taking the same colour blocking as the 2015 fragment design x Air Jordan 1, these are pretty crazy. A white, black and royal blue palette come together to create a slick Jordan 1. Travis Scott’s signature reverse Swoosh can be seen on the medial side, with a large fragment thunderbolt logo placed on the heel. Finally, a cream midsole unit brings things to a close, rounding off a crazy Jordan 1 sample.
As you can probably imagine these have been going crazy in the sneaker community. It’s also a sign of what could have been for the fragment x Travis Scott collab.
