It’s only one month into 2024 and we’ve already got one of the year’s biggest sneaker drops around the corner. The Air Jordan 4 OG Reimagined Bred is set to arrive on the 17th of February, so we thought we’d go over some key details of this exciting release.
At this point we’re surely all familiar with the changes this release makes to the Bred. The black upper swaps out its traditional synthetic nubuck (or durabuck) material for plush tumbled leather. All the other details are true to the OG, with the classic Nike Air branding on the heel.
The shoe’s shape is based on the Nike SB ‘Pine Green’ from last year, borrowing some of its hit-making energy. The SBs themselves are also closer to the originals, with a more streamlined toe box than previous retros. The SB shape also adds a thicker tongue and softer rubber on the heel tab, which should translate to some added comfort on foot.
Its been reported that Nike have made around 500,000 pairs. While the main release is set for the 17th of February, there’s also a Shock Drop rumoured to take place this week on the Nike SNKRS app.
Keep your eyes peeled for early releases, and be sure to check KLEKT if you miss out on retail
