Since 2020, Grace Wales Bonner and adidas have collaborated on a mix of classic and obscure models, building a catalogue that’s taken the fashion world by storm. Now, Wales Bonner is finally taking on the iconic adidas Superstar in their upcoming Autumn/Winter collection.

As you would expect, Wales Bonner uses the iconic Superstar silhouette as a canvas for some unique, luxurious details. This pair comes in a glossy off-white faux crocodile leather upper, with black adidas stripes on the sides maintaining the shoe’s classic colour blocking. The model’s signature shell toe remains untouched, with a herringbone rubber outsole serving as a solid foundation.

This crocodile finish will also serve as a stylish recurring motif for the other shoes in this upcoming capsule. WB are once again putting the spotlight on the Samba OG, with two pairs in deep blue and brown croc uppers.

There’s also the Samba Millennium, done in the same split look that appeared in the previous Wales Bonner x adidas collection. The first pair is split between smooth mustard yellow and navy croc leather, while the other features silver leather with a brown croc heel.

The Wales Bonner x adidas Autumn/Winter collection is rumoured to be dropping in the next few weeks. Stay tuned to the blog for more news on upcoming releases, and feel free to check out the Wales Bonner collection on the KLEKT app.
