No other collaborator has captured the sneakerhead imagination like Corteiz has since 2023. Not only do they build hype with their theatrical shock drops, but they’ve tapped into a collective nostalgia with their choices of silhouettes. With their new Air Max 95 SP ‘Tour Yellow’ rumoured to be dropping this March, we thought we’d take a look at some of the most influential releases of the 2020s.
Air Max 95 (2023)
After making waves with their signing as a Nike collaborator, Corteiz made waves in 2023 with a trio of Air Max 95s. The first of these 110s was the ‘Olive‘ colourway, which launched worldwide on Corteiz’s in March of that year. Later that same month, the ‘Pink Beam’ colourway shook New York when sneakerheads followed Corteiz’s coordinates to grab the shoe from a bodega. Then, the ‘Aegean Storm‘ colourway had a similar drop in Paris in April.
Aside from the creative, viral drops, it’s not hard to see why these 95s were as hyped as they were. Each pair came in premium leather uppers with bursts of colour in the Air units. They also came decorated with Corteiz’s signature iconography, including camo print on the interior and the brand’s Alcatraz logo on the tongue.
Air Trainer Huarache (2024)
Following the AM95, Corteiz took on another fan-favourite Nike silhouette from their hometown of London, the Air Trainer Huarache. Like the AM95, three colourways dropped in ultra-limited releases in late 2024. The ‘Gully Grey’ and ‘Light Bone’ colourways were both Corteiz website releases. Corteiz then capped off 2024 in a big way with another viral ARG drop in NYC, releasing an all-black pony hair colourway.
Once again, these pairs tapped into the nostalgia of Corteiz’s in-the-know cult fanbase. Not only that, but they also spearheaded Nike’s reintroduction of the Air Trainer Huarache in 2025, proving Corteiz’s influence.
Air Max 95 ‘Tour Yellow’ (2025)
Cut to now, and Corteiz are set to sustain their momentum into 2025 with the Air Max 95 SP ‘Tour Yellow’. This colourway comes in a clean jet-black colourway, with golden yellow accents on the embroidered Corteiz branding and Air units. Rumours surrounding this pair have been circulating since last summer, but it seems to finally be arriving on the 1st of March. However, we still don’t know the finer details on how exactly Corteiz will be dropping them.
