When Hiroshi Fujiwara and Nike join forces, the sneaker world pays attention. Over the years, Fragment Design has delivered some of the most sought-after collaborations in the game. From ultra-clean Air Jordans to subtle Nike classics stamped with the iconic lightning bolt, Fujiwara’s projects have consistently defined what modern sneaker collaborations should look like.
Now, the partnership is stepping into new territory. The upcoming Nike x Fragment Concept Testing pack moves away from traditional retro silhouettes and instead focuses on futuristic innovation. Featuring three experimental models, the collection blends minimalist design with performance-driven technology – a formula that feels right at home in fragment’s understated aesthetic. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming drop.
The Fragment Concept Testing Collection
The latest collaboration introduces three new silhouettes designed around Nike’s forward-thinking footwear concepts: the Nike Mind 001; Nike Mind 002; and the Nike Air Liquid Max.

Rather than leaning on nostalgia, this pack explores experimental design language and lightweight construction. The result is a lineup that feels more like performance footwear from the future than traditional lifestyle sneakers.
Each pair carries fragment’s signature design philosophy: minimal colour palettes, clean lines, and subtle branding that lets the details speak for themselves.

Fragment’s Signature Minimalism
If you’ve followed fragment releases before, you’ll know Fujiwara rarely overcomplicates things. The Concept Testing pack continues that approach with muted tones, streamlined uppers and discreet lightning bolt branding across each silhouette. The design language is sleek and technical, emphasising function just as much as form.
The Mind 001 and Mind 002 lean heavily into lightweight running aesthetics, with the 002 featuring a unique Flyknit upper, while the Air Liquid Max showcases Nike’s latest cushioning innovation. Together, they represent a shift toward future-facing sneaker design while still maintaining fragment’s instantly recognisable DNA.
