Collectibles have become a big part of streetwear culture. The likes of Supreme, BAPE and Palace have all dropped some neat accessories. However, there are fewer brands with as much of a cult following than Medicom Toy. Founded in 1996, Medicom Toy has become one of the most collectible brands on the planet. Its BE@RBRICK is now one of the key pieces for any hypebeast home to have. Now, Medicom Toy is teaming up with 2G Studio for a unique BE@RBRICK.
The gold BE@RBRICK, complete with alternate silver hands, is certainly eye-catching to look at. Its shiny plating helps show off the key details of the figure, with the faceless figurine having a silver nose as a nice contrast. However, the key detail on this collaborative collectible is the translucent body with a large “2G” branding that lights up. The clear body also shows off the rotating parts that connect the arms, a detail that was used on 2G’s previous BE@RBRICK collab.
Dropping in 100% and 400% sizes, the 2G Studio is a Japanese exclusive, only available at the 2G studio in Shibuya. Check out the images below and let us know what you think.
