Jordan Brand is no stranger to using the “Mocha” colourway. After first being used on the Air Jordan 3 in 2003, the colourway has been a treat for sneakerheads. When Travis Scott adorned his Air Jordan 1 High in the combination last year, it was cemented as a classic. Thankfully, we may not have to wait for a mystery restock of the Travis Scotts. It now looks like we may be seeing two more “Mocha” Air Jordan 1 High sneakers later this year.
Reports suggest that a “Dark Mocha” Air Jordan 1 High will be on the way. The colourway, which bears a striking resemblance to the TS x AJ1, uses the same colour blocking. However, instead of using the suede that La Flame used, this sneaker will opt for the more familiar leather panelling. A combination of “Dark Mocha” and “Sail” will adorn the sneaker, making for a perfect shoe whatever the season.
A second “Dark Mocha” Air Jordan 1 High will also launch, however, it will be different. The sneaker will use “Sail” throughout the entire leather upper and have “Dark Mocha” accents on the Swoosh, outsole, heel and sock liner. This pair has a classic OG feel to it yet still has a sense of nouveau design that we’ve come to love from Jordan Brand.
Rumoured to drop in the Holiday season, these will reportedly cost around £135/€170. Check out the images below and let us know if you plan on copping these Jordans.
