When it was announced that Stüssy and Nike would be collaborating on the Air Zoom Spiridon, sneakerheads were excited. Since 2001, Stüssy x Nike has created some of the most sought after shoes in history. Bringing back an early 00’s Nike silhouette is tough, yet somehow Stüssy has made it look easy. Now, we have an on-foot look at the second installation of the Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Kukini.
Noticeably different from its predecessor, the Kukini Spiridon features a perforated white mesh upper. Spots of black and red can be seen throughout, with a red sockliner and bold Stüssy logo embroidered on the tongue. Of course, the big talking point around this shoe is the plastic cage that encapsulates the entire upper. This web-like design takes inspiration from the 2003 Nike Kukini which featured the same cage. Sitting atop a Zoom Air Cushioning midsole, this shoe is perfect for summer.
Rumoured to drop later this season for €170, you can expect these Spiridons to be an instant sell-out. Take a closer look at the images below and let us know if you plan on copping these.
