Having diversity in a sneaker line is key. For Kanye West, his sneakers have always been more lifestyle focused than athletic. Since his first sneaker with Nike in 2009 to his adidas Yeezy 350, Kanye’s silhouettes are not designed for sport. However, that all changed this year with the introduction of the adidas Yeezy Quantum. The basketball model was Kanye’s first foray into athletic sneakers. Now, it looks like a new “Barium” colour could be on the way.
This latest colourway is a different approach to its predecessor. A khaki Primeknit upper features a slightly darker green cage, making for a well-balanced sneaker. The “Barium” showcases Kanye’s favoured earthy palette and is a much simpler pair to style than its big brother. Of course, familiar details like a black suede toe cap and the 3M reflective heel section. Sitting atop a fully Boost cushioned midsole, this Yeezy will be as comfy as any other.
Estimated to retail at €250 and drop in June 2020, this is going to be one of the best Yeezy releases of the summer. Check out the images below and let us know what you think.
