After purchasing Reebok in 2005, adidas has been ensuring that it brings the heritage sportswear brand up to scratch. In recent years, there have been a number of footwear crossovers between Reebok and adidas. Take a look at the Instapump Fury with Boost technology, for example. Now, adidas is bringing together James Harden, one of its signature athletes, together with one of the most notorious NBA players of all time, Allen Iverson.
Taking AI’s signature Reebok Question Mid, adidas has decked the sneaker out in a Houston Rockets theme. Dubbed the “OG Meets OG,” the unlikely collaboration is already causing quite a stir in the sneaker community. Combining one of Harden’s signature colourways on AIs instantly recognisable model is proving a big hit. Black leather is contrasted by a white midsole and toe, whilst a red sock liner only adds to this sneakers allure. The rope laces, complete with multicolour detailing, is a nice touch too.
