There is a continuous debate regarding who the best brand in the world truly is. For fashion fans, it allows them to put forward their case for who their favourite label is and why. As the years have gone on this debate has continued, bringing new designers and labels into the midst of old favourites. With so many brands to choose from, and with so many great pieces from each, it can be tough to see who the real winner is. Thankfully, this isn’t the case anymore.
Thanks to Lyst, we now have a closer look at who the world’s hottest fashion brands were in Q4 of 2019. Continuing its dominance from last year, Virgil Abloh’s Off-White™ leads the worlds hottest brands list. Although Abloh gave a pretty damning prediction for the future of streetwear last year, it hasn’t hurt the success of Off-White™. Having showcased a new direction in its FW20 runway show, Off-White™ is changing its familiar streetwear style for something more traditional.
Close behind Off-White™ were Italian luxury behemoth Gucci (2nd) and Kering’s golden child Balenciaga (3rd). With Alessandro Michele and Demna Gvasailia at their houses, it is no wonder the two have taken their respective spots. Nike and Yeezy dominated the world of sneakers, with both brands making it into the top 20 at 12th and 16th place, respectively.
