James Jebbia’s Supreme skate brand has transformed from a small independent store to an instantly recognisable fashion powerhouse since it was founded in 1994. The New York skate shop has become one of the most coveted brands in the world, working with the likes of Stone Island, Rimowa and Nike. A few items have remained constant in its 25-year history, one of which is the iconic Supreme box logo hoodie.
Each year, Supreme will drop a box logo hoodie that sends its dedicated army of fans into a frenzy. It is usually the most hyped item of the season and will always have a different appearance. Collaborative efforts with the likes of Swarovski, Comme des Garçons and Louis Vuitton have only added to the allure of the box logo and box logo hoodies by Supreme usually sell out within seconds, hitting the resell market in under a minute.
With the latest Supreme box logo hoodie set to drop this Thursday, we thought it was time to round up some of our favourites over the past two decades. Here we’ll be delving into the vast Supreme bogo hoodie archive and picking out some of our favourites. Some of these we expect you will have seen and some we hope that you have not. Take a look at the 10 best Supreme box logo hoodies with KLEKT!
Supreme Box Logo Hoodie (1994)
We had to kick this list off with the one that started it all. When Supreme opened its doors in April 1994, it initially sold other brands like Spitfire and Zoo York. Jebbia, however, wanted to start selling his own Supreme clothing. The story goes that Jebbia’s friend designed the logo but Jebbia felt that the design was a little flat. Jebbia leant the designer a book about New York artist Barbara Kruger.
Kruger, who’s work is famous for anticapitalism and antiestablishment statements feature a red box with white writing on the inside. Whether the Supreme logo was inspired by Kruger’s work of a direct copy will depend on who you ask. The design would go on to cover Supreme’s famous white crew-neck T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts.
This simple grey box logo hoodie is the hoodie that started it all for Supreme. Now, over 20 years later, this bogo is still one of the most sought after. Supreme re-released this hoodie for its FW16 drop, giving fans the chance to own one of the brands most iconic pieces.

Supreme Peach Box Logo Hoodie (FW16)
For FW16, Supreme had decided to reissue some of its classic pieces. The box logo dropped eight box logo hoodies in total, all of which became extremely desirable amongst Supreme fans. There were some clear winners, of course, but this peach box logo hoodie was one of our favourites.
It was, of course, not the first time that Supreme had taken a tonal approach to its box logo hoodies, but it was the first time that this colour had been seen before. Comprised of Supreme’s world-famous cotton hoodies, this dusty pink box logo was one of the most coveted items of the season. The peach Supreme box logo blended in perfectly, with white text creating a perfect balance.
This was one of the craziest online Supreme drops of all time, with numbers backing it up. According to Supreme’s e-commerce specialist, Splay, nearly 1 billion (no, that’s not a typo) logged on to the Supreme site on drop day. Almost 2 million people made inquiries into the site’s backend trying to cop. This box logo hoodie is still extremely sought after, even three years later.
Supreme American Flag Box Logo (FW14)
Supreme is no stranger to making political statements, such as the “Fuck Bush” stickers it made during 2005’s Presidential Election Campaign. One of the more patriotic pieces that Supreme has released is this FW14 box logo, adorned in the American flag.
A red, white and blue hoodie featured a red Supreme box logo across the chest. The famous Stars and Stripes made this hoodie one of the most sought after box logos in recent history. Whilst it may not as patriotic as the Star-Spangled Banner itself, Supreme’s American flag hoodie certainly made an impact on the community.
The American flag box logo was an instant sellout and is one of the most expensive Supreme hoodies on the market. Supreme dropped another American flag in the same season, with a reflective logo across the hood, this wasn’t as difficult to cop.
Supreme Arabic Box Logo Hoodie (1997)
Arabic logos have been a part of Supreme’s history for over 20 years. The origin of the Arabic script can be traced back to 1997 and has had a number of appearances in Supreme’s lifetime. This Supreme Arabic box logo hoodie is definitely one of our favourites and here’s why.
Supreme dropped its first-ever box logo hoodie back in 1996, two years after it opened. The Arabic script was used as one of the first alternatives and would see the brand revisit the logo across a number of different items. The rumour goes that Supreme used Arabic as an ode to some of the neighbours it had on Lafayette Street, though this has never been confirmed.
Whatever the story, we love this Supreme Arabic box logo hoodie and hope that the design makes a reappearance soon.
Supreme x Louis Vuitton Box Logo Hoodie (SS17)
This is probably the most expensive Supreme box logo hoodie of all time, both at retail and on the secondary market. After months of speculation, and the eventual announcement from Louis Vuitton and Supreme, the hype around the upcoming collaboration was real.
Fans around the world were lining up for days (7,500 in Tokyo alone) to get their hands on the most sought after collection of the decade. The Supreme Louis Vuitton box logo hoodie retailed at €750 ($855), far more than the traditional prices regularly seen at drops. Now, however, the hoodies can start at €5,000 and reach up to €20,000 depending on the size.
It may not be the rarest Supreme box logo on this list but it is still one of the most collectable for obvious reasons. If you have the pockets (and guts) to drop some serious money on this piece then why not!

Supreme Snow Camo Box Logo Hoodie (FW13)
Camouflage has always had a role in Supreme’s items and dates back to the early 2000s. Over the years, there has been a number of products that have received the camo treatment including T-shirts, hats and accessories. This snow camo box logo from FW13 is by far one of the best.
Using a blend of grey, white and black, the Supreme snow camo box logo was an instant hit with the community. A black box logo features white writing and seamlessly blends into the camo cotton. It became one of the fastest-selling Supreme items of the season, and it’s easy to see why.
An alternative camo box logo featured maroon colouring but this is by far the winner. As the years go by, it’s getting harder and harder to find one of these due to it being so sought after. If you do want one of these, just be prepared to pay big.
Supreme x Commes des Garçons Box Logo (SS12)
Supreme and Comme des Garçons have created some of the most sought after pieces in streetwear. Back in 2012, Rei Kawakubo’s Comme des Garçons SHIRT label had teamed up with Supreme to create a small capsule collection which featured collared shirts, caps, Vans and box logo T-shirts and hoodies. It was the first time that the two brands worked together but it would mark the start of a long and illustrious relationship.
This Supreme x Comme des Garçons box logo was nothing like Supreme fans had seen before. Dropping in three colours, black, grey and navy, the box logo featured polka dots across the entire thing. The star of the show was the reversed box logo, a simple twist from CDG that would create a huge level of hype.
Supreme had changed the design of its signature hoodie for the first time in its history, making it an important box logo hoodie, to say the least.
Supreme Black Box Logo Hoodie (1994)
There was no way we could go through this list without mentioning one of Supreme’s most simple yet iconic pieces. The all-black box logo is one of the greatest pieces from the New York skate brand for its monochromatic simplicity.
An all-black hoodie featuring a black box logo with a simple white Supreme logo across the middle is the perfect item for any skater. The black Supreme box logo hoodie has been a firm favourite and has always been one of the most coveted items. It has seen a number of reissues across Supreme’s 25 years history and has always sold out in record times.
All Supreme box logos are great but this is definitely one of our favourites. Commes des Garçons put its signature twist on the black box logo earlier this year, only adding to the story. This black Supreme hoodie is definitely one to add to your wardrobe.
Supreme Grey on Grey Box Logo Hoodie (2003)
In 2003, Supreme was close to celebrating its 10th birthday; a monumental achievement for the small independent skate store. In keeping with the monochromatic theme, we’re finishing our list off with one of the most simple flips on Supreme’s classic box logo hoodie.
Supreme’s classic grey hoodie featured a grey box logo, seamlessly blending into the cotton with only white text visible. The design, though simple in its nature, created one of the most memorable box logo hoodies in Supreme’s history. Though some may argue that the design is too plain, we think that it sums up the brand perfectly.
If you’re looking for a cheap Supreme then this isn’t. Due to the rarity, age and popularity of the grey box logo it is highly collectable amongst serious Supreme fans.
Final Thoughts
We hope you enjoyed this post on the top 10 Supreme box logo hoodies of all time. Box logo hoodies by Supreme have always played an important part in the brand’s history. As time goes by, some of the best Supreme hoodies are often the older ones and they are getting harder and harder to find.
