Animals have always influenced the world of sneakers. Whether it’s through names like PUMA or atmos Safari Nikes, big brands often look to nature for a muse. In recent years, Jordan Brand has been experimenting with faux animal prints and fur throughout a number of its sneakers. The results have been great, with the recent Air Jordan 3 “Animal Instinct” being the boldest animal Jordan thus far. Thankfully, a second version is set to drop this weekend.
Just like the previous version, the “Animal Instinct 2.0” features a number of different panels throughout. However, unlike its predecessor, the 2.0 looks to cold-blooded reptiles rather than warm-blooded mammals. Faux snakeskin and alligator make up the majority of the leather panelling, with crocodile print also featuring towards the ankle. If the varying leather patterns weren’t enough, the bold colours that go along with this Air Jordan 3 help it to stand out even more.
Neutral black and browns are accented with bold colours throughout. Splashes of yellow adorn the heel tab, whilst an emerald green lines the ankle. The classic Air Jordan 3 Jumpman features the same red, with a combination of red and yellow making up the sole. If you’re looking for an eye-catching Jordan, then look no further.
Set to launch on June 6th for €225, this is one Air Jordan 3 you don’t want to miss. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop.
