In the world of sneakers, the Nike Air Max 90 is without a doubt one of the most important. Since its initial release back in 1990, the shoe has remained a favourite for sneakerheads all over the world. Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design, originally called the Air Max III, is still one of the most worn pairs of shoes on the planet. After the recent success of the “Reverse Duck Camo” for Air Max Day, it looks like Nike plans on continuing the colourways legacy in a much brighter fashion.
Dubbed the “Green Duck Camo” (creative, we know) the latest Air Max 90 makes a colourful change to its predecessor. Unlike the OG atmos “Duck Camo” Air Max 90s and the AMD reissue, the “Green Duck Camo” opts for a volt green mesh as the base. The characteristic camouflage pattern has also been given a lift, opting for a lighter colour compared to the previous versions. A crisp white midsole, contrasted by a black Air Unit and volt green outsole, gives the sneaker an additional pop for good measure.
With this being the latest in the Duck Camo series, who knows what Nike has in store for the colourway in 2020. Releasing on May 15th for around €140, you can expect these to be a big hit for summer. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Max 90s.
