When you’re collaborating with any brand, samples are one of the things you get treated too. Travis Scott has taken to Instagram to reveal one of the early samples of his recent Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration.
Although the design is very similar to the retail Travis Scott x Nike SB Dunk Low, the sample has no tearaway fabric. The removable paisley and plaid pattern was not used on this early pair at all. With this being a sample, it’s likely to presume that the paisley panels were added at a later date. Sneakerheads will also be quick to notice that the midsole and outsole are different to the final pair.
On the sample, a beige midsole is paired with a brown sole, compared to the beige and gum release pair. A pebbled leather Swoosh has also been included on this sample, whereas the retail pair has a smooth leather Swoosh.
