When rumours of a Supreme x Air Jordan 1 High began circulating in early August, the sneaker community was quick to take notice. Although Supreme and Nike have formed a close relationship over the past 18 years, the two have traditionally gone for underground models. Supreme rarely chooses a Nike silhouette that you know, when it does, you have to have it. Thankfully, the rumours of the Supreme x Air Jordan 1 High appear to be coming to real life.
It was reported that Supreme x Nike would be referencing the 2003 Dunk High for this upcoming collaboration. A leaked image shows the upper of the Supreme x Air Jordan 1 being put together, though the source has not yet been named. However, there is enough detail in the image to give us a proper look. The croc like leather has stayed the same, as well as the gold stars adorning the midsection of the Jordan. Appearing in the “Varsity Red,” “University Blue,” and “College Orange” colourways, this is going to be a must cop for any sneakerhead.
Although there is no confirmed release date just yet, sources claim that the Supreme x Air Jordan 1 will release in 2021. As for now, we’ll just have to sit tight. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll (try to) cop the Supreme Air Jordan 1.
