When Kanye West unveiled the adidas Yeezy Quantum, many were sceptical over its success. As Kanye’s first venture into the world of athletic Yeezy sneakers, it marked a turning point in the Yeezy Brand history. Fast forward a couple of years and the adidas Yeezy Quantum has become one sneaker many wish they could cop. With the “Barium” Yeezy Quantum set to launch this month, sneakerheads won’t have to wait too long.
Unlike the original Yeezy Quantum, the “Barium” opts for a more subtle approach. A combination of grey and Dark Green Marl Primeknit adorn the sneakers upper, with the plastic cage using a darker green hue. Black neoprene on the tongue and ankle allows more movement, with a set of black laces finishing the upper off. The result is an almost camouflage-like look, playing on Kanye’s favoured tonal colouring. A grey suede toe cap, complete with a translucent Boost midsole, rounds this sports Yeezy off nicely.
