Over the past six years, Kanye West and adidas have taken the sneaker world by storm. A string of silhouettes, hotly anticipated releases and an army of loyal fans have meant Yeezy Brand has become one of the biggest forces in footwear. After the introduction of the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 earlier this year, many have been patiently waiting to see more from the silhouette. Now, it looks like the “Blue Oat” colourway is almost here.
Unlike the previous “Alien” and “Mist” 380s, this is arguably the brightest Yeezy 380 so far. A combination of dark brown and orange give this shoe a futuristic look. The familiar camouflage pattern that adorns the Primeknit upper is balanced out by a pinkish-tan sockliner. It is the large “Blue Oat” highlight, however, that really grabs the eye. The bright blue stripe across the mid-section gives this shoe a real edge in comparison to earlier 380s. Finishing the shoe off is the classic Boost midsole, combining comfort and functionality all in one.
Early reports suggest that the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Blue Oat” is set to release on June 20th for €230. No news yet on if this will be a full family size Yeezy but check back to KLEKT once more news on this story breaks. Until then, check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop.
